Tell Me How It Was: 50 Years in 5 Conversations – Episode 5

Originally from Porto, he enrolled in the Nutrition Sciences course in 2009 and presided over the Student Association in the 2011/2012 academic year. With him, we go back to the 2010-2020 decade and the time when FCNAUP (Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto) was temporarily operating at FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto).

With the nutritionist from Trás-os-Montes and former president of AEFCNAUP, originally from Chaves, we recall the 2000s and the entry of the Faculty and Porto into the 21st century.

With Helena Ávila, who enrolled in the Nutrition Sciences course in 1987. She was president of the Student Association in the early 1990s, a time of great academic activity.

With Artur Melo e Castro, who entered the former Higher Course in Nutrition in 1979. As president of the Student Association, he recalls the beginning of the 80s.

The future holds 50 years of history, but that doesn't make it any less bold and irreverent, just like in 1976, after the social, cultural, and political revolution.
